Popular American YouTube star and live-streamer IShowSpeed made a stop in Singapore on September 22, after touring other Southeast Asian countries. Known for his high-energy content, the 19-year-old, whose real name is Darren Watkins Jr., shared his arrival with fans via a live stream.

Sporting a blue Singapore football jersey, Speed was seen riding through the city in a vehicle during the live stream, which attracted over 100,000 viewers just minutes after it began. "I don't know much about Singapore," he admitted to his viewers.

As part of his visit, Speed went to Universal Studios Singapore, where he was greeted by enthusiastic fans eager for selfies and handshakes. Accompanied by park staff and security, the YouTuber explored the theme park, interacting with characters like the Minions from the popular Despicable Me movies. "I don't think there's any other country in Southeast Asia with a Universal Studios," Speed remarked during his visit.

However, the live stream was cut short after a theme park employee informed him that live streaming was not allowed on the attractions. The stream ended around 4:20 PM, leaving fans wondering what Speed’s next move in Singapore would be.

Although his itinerary remains unclear, followers speculate that he might attend the Gumball 3000 supercar rally, which concludes on September 22. In the comments section of his live stream, fans suggested Speed visit local spots like Northpoint City in Yishun.

IShowSpeed, originally from Ohio, kicked off his Southeast Asian tour on September 9 in Thailand, where he made headlines for accidentally crashing a tuk-tuk into a temple wall. He also had a close call in Malaysia on September 17, when he nearly choked on a durian seed. Prior to this, Speed embarked on a similar live-stream tour across Europe.

Speed's rise to fame began in 2021 when he gained attention for his lively reactions while playing games like NBA 2K and Fortnite. Apart from gaming, Speed often showcases his physical talents, performing backflips and stunts like jumping over moving cars, much to the delight of his fans.

His impressive connections with football stars have also added to his fame. He attended the prestigious Ballon d'Or ceremony, where he was seen mingling with top football players from Real Madrid and Manchester City.

In April, Speed even made an appearance at Wrestlemania, the WWE's largest event, where he featured as a mascot during a match between Randy Orton and fellow YouTuber-turned-wrestler Logan Paul. During the match, Orton performed his signature move, the RKO, on Speed.
